We are especially grateful and deeply indebted to our friends who have helped us and
continue to accompany us on this journey:
Architecture by Design
In addition to helping create the unique face of the restaurant with the Element 112 logo, Architecture by Design was instrumental in the overall architectural design and interior planning of the restaurant space.
As our incredibly talented web developer, Asher helped in the creation, design, and functionality of the Element 112 website, truly reflecting the Element 112 experience through an online space.
Bill has been instrumental in helping us open our doors, whether it was putting us in touch with the right people or navigating the local permit process. Bill also generously introduced Chef Nixon to downtown Sylvania, and continues to work with him as he concentrates on building a dynamic future for downtown Sylvania.
Browne Trading Co.
Based in Portland, Maine, Browne Trading Company has consistently and faithfully provided us with freshly caught, top quality, wild, and sustainable fish for several years.
Jim has been instrumental in assisting us form a top-notch wine list, in addition to helping us locate reputable suppliers. He has gone above and beyond anything we have asked of him, and we are proud that Sautterʼs is the official grocery store and supplier for Element 112.
Joe St. Jean from Scholz Design
Joeʼs gift for creative interior design and generous spirit brought the vision for Element 112 to life.
John Howard, PAKKS art
Element 112 is grateful and honored to feature John’s abstract “digital multi-media” artwork on its walls, as the large scale photographic prints bring yet another elemental dimension of both color and imagery to our dining rooms. www.pakks.info
With unmatched professionalism and patience, Lance worked with us for months to find the perfect location for what would become Element 112.
Nate, a local craftsman and fellow St. John’s Jesuit grad, outdid himself on our beautiful tables, all of which he designed and constructed by hand. They are beautifully unique, perfectly reflecting the vision for the restaurant.
Natureʼs Bounty Farm
Amy and Lowell Huepenbecker, organic farmers and owners of Natureʼs Bounty Farm in Allen, Michigan, have partnered with us for several years supplying 100% organic vegetables, herbs, and fresh free-range eggs.
As our builder, Paul’s talent is evident in the transformation of the Element 112 space.
Rick and Kathy Merrill
Our Michigan friends have been helpful in so many ways, not only providing friendship and patronage over the years, but also foraging for our highly sought-after wild ramps and mushrooms. Your warmth and benevolence is extraordinary, and we are very grateful.
The Wingate Hotel
Located at the heart of downtown Sylvania, the charming Wingate Hotel features an outstanding service staff dedicated to the comfort of their guests.
